Job Summary

Astor Services is seeking a highly skilled Professional Development Coach to join our team. As a key member of our organization, this individual will play a critical role in supporting the growth and development of our staff.

Key Responsibilities

The Training and Development Specialist will be responsible for collaborating with our Chief Human Resource Officer and program leadership to design and deliver a variety of training programs focused on staff development, effective communication, and wellness and self-care. This includes:

  • Developing and implementing training initiatives to support staff growth and development
  • Collaborating with program leadership to identify training needs and develop solutions
  • Managing and implementing external training contracts
  • Supporting the Director of Clinical Training with external training initiatives
  • Contributing to the development of specialized trainings for staff development related to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the Staff Development Facilitator must have:

  • An Associate degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in training and development or a Bachelor's Degree in education, communication, or the social service field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
