Job Overview

Grady CPAs, PC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Accounting Professional to enhance our team. In this role, you will take charge of preparing and scrutinizing financial documentation for our organization.

Role Focus: Taxation and Auditing

As a pivotal member of our firm, you will lead audit, financial statement, and tax engagements for a diverse range of clients, including privately held businesses, entrepreneurs, and non-profit entities. Your responsibilities will encompass direct client interaction, providing strategic business consulting, and fostering growth initiatives. You will engage in audit and financial statement projects for various organizations, prepare both corporate and individual tax returns, conduct tax planning and research, and build strong professional relationships with clients.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Active CPA license or in the process of obtaining one
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant public accounting experience with increasing responsibilities
  • Solid understanding of GAAP principles
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on deadlines
  • Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, client service, leadership, and technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software
  • Ability to effectively lead accounting projects, tackle complex accounting challenges, manage multiple tasks, and excel in a dynamic, team-oriented setting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct attestation engagements, including compilations, reviews, and audits, adhering to professional standards
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, footnote disclosures, and management letters
  • Maintain regular communication with clients to gather necessary documentation for engagement completion
  • Perform accounting and tax research as needed
  • Prepare tax returns accurately and efficiently
