Job Overview

Russell Tobin is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to assist in supporting a prominent healthcare organization. This role involves a contract position with potential for permanent placement.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Compensation: $18-23 per hour (based on qualifications and experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilizes advanced knowledge and skills to handle complex tasks.
  • Exhibits extensive expertise in the field and applies it effectively across various functions.
  • Serves as a technical resource for colleagues within the department.
  • Proactively identifies customer needs and formulates effective solutions.
  • Independently resolves intricate issues and suggests innovative approaches.
  • Organizes, prioritizes, and completes tasks to achieve set goals efficiently.
  • Facilitates conflict resolution within teams and is recognized as a vital contributor to cross-functional projects.
  • Trains new and existing staff on current and new procedures, including aseptic techniques and compliance with industry standards.
  • Oversees workflow processes within sterile environments, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Evaluates daily cleaning and aseptic practices of compounding technicians and addresses any noted discrepancies.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED, or a minimum of 4 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • Possession of a valid and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License in Texas.
  • At least 2 years of experience with computer systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs in a dynamic work environment.
