Position Overview: We are seeking an Electromechanical Technician to enhance our team. If you possess strong skills in your field, enjoy the challenges of a startup environment, and are passionate about creating cutting-edge hardware for aerospace systems, we would like to connect with you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As an Electromechanical Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and timely delivery of our products to meet customer expectations.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in high-reliability sectors such as Aerospace, Automotive, or Medical devices.
  • You should be adaptable, responsive, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment, with the motivation to build, repair, and maintain SMT circuit cards and electronic final assemblies.

Additional Duties: As a startup, we expect team members to wear multiple hats. You may occasionally be asked to assist with inventory cycle counts, shipping and receiving tasks, or other responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience interpreting schematics, drawings, diagrams, and other visual aids for assembly.
  • Ability to collaborate with team members to clarify production roles.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in electronic assembly operations, including SMT, AOI, component preparation, X-Ray, de-paneling, and soldering.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with engineers and design staff to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
  • Proficient in using tools for making or repairing parts and products.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and the ability to distinguish colors for identifying electrical wires.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean workspace.
  • Capability to read parts lists and verify all components are present.
  • Familiarity with routine preventive maintenance procedures.
  • Experience in inventory management and placing orders for supplies as needed.
  • Basic computer skills for completing quality control documentation.
  • Experience working in an ESD and FOD-controlled environment.
  • Ability to work independently while adhering to strict safety protocols.
