Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Cashier to join our team at SSP America. As a Restaurant Cashier, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing our point-of-sale system to ensure timely and accurate service.
  • Receive payment from customers and process change, maintaining a high level of cash handling accuracy.
  • Serve a wide variety of food and beverage items to guests, including cold, frozen, and hot drinks.
  • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Ensure the work area is clean and well-maintained throughout the day, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness and service.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment and utensils, remove trash, sweep and mop the work area, and dust and clean as needed.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient service.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
