Job Title: Contract Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Support Specialist to join our team at Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering, LLC (ICE).

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for providing contract administration support for CEI work on FDOT projects. The successful candidate will perform basic contract administration functions, including analyzing contract quantities to prevent overruns and underruns, and preparing survey data for use in software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing)
  • Ability to analyze contract quantities and prepare survey data for use in software
  • Proficiency in Trimble Business Center - Heavy Construction Edition (HCE) or approved surface to surface comparison software and Engineering Menu
  • Responsible for exercising independent judgment in planning work details and making technical decisions related to the office aspects of the project
  • Responsible for performing work under the general supervision of the Project Administrator
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • For personnel with engineering, engineering technology, and construction management degrees: No prior experience is required
  • For personnel without engineering, engineering technology or construction management degrees: Four (4) years of CEI experience having performed/assisted in project related duties or Two (2) years of experience with 3D Modeling and CADD
  • CTQP Final Estimates Level II required
  • A valid Driver's License is required with a safe driving record and must complete a pre-employment screening
Physical Demands:

This position requires minimal lifting of up to 50 pounds sometimes on a frequent basis. The employee must be able to travel and tour work sites under adverse environmental conditions, including loud noise levels, high dust and dirt, and extreme temperature.

Work Schedule:

This position is full-time (40 hours per week) with office hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. While overtime is generally not anticipated, occasional projects or deadlines may necessitate additional hours, compensated according to company policy.
