Job Title: Pathologist

At PathGroup, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pathologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing pathology services to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of human disease.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive pathology reports in a timely fashion.
  • Supervise and direct laboratory activities in accordance with national standards and internal policies.
  • Consult with other pathologists and clinical physicians to ensure accurate diagnoses.
  • Conduct autopsies and perform macroscopic and microscopic examinations of tissues and fluids.
  • Participate in staff meetings and call schedules as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Medical degree required.
  • Active license to practice medicine in the state where the position is located.
  • Certification in anatomic or clinical pathology required.
  • National certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) as Clinical Laboratory Specialist.

The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. They must also be able to perform multiple tasks in a limited time frame and maintain accurate records.
