The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree and at least six months of related experience. You will work closely with the clinic staff, hospital departments, and community agencies to provide comprehensive care to patients.

Work Schedule:

You will work 4 ten-hour shifts per week, with every Thursday off. You will also be required to work 1:5 weekend coverage, with only 2 weekday shifts the week you cover the weekend.

Location:

You will work out of both Tanner Medical Center Carrollton and Tanner Medical Center Villa Rica, with your primary location in Carrollton.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree
  • At least six months of related experience
  • Healthcare Provider (CPR) certification
  • Physician's Assistant certification
  • Able to communicate effectively with medical and hospital staff and various populations
  • ACLS recommended
  • Additional certification may be required for some specialties
  • Graduate of a recognized Physician Assistant program
  • Must be capable of dealing tactfully and effectively with patients, family members, other employees, and physicians
  • Must maintain high degree of confidentiality
  • Must meet credentialing criteria
  • Must possess the cognitive ability to understand patient medical records, physician orders, and medical orders to be communicated to patient, hospital, and/or other physician
  • Must possess the sense or discipline to work in accordance with accepted clinical standards
  • Prior experience in a like specialty preferred
