Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Tech to join our team at PSN Affiliates. As a Medical Technologist, you will be responsible for performing moderate and high complexity testing, analyzing and reviewing test results, and ensuring specimen integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform moderate and high complexity testing, including analyzing and reviewing test results.
  • Ensure specimen integrity by adhering to laboratory procedures for specimen handling and processing.
  • Utilize technical skills and abilities to accurately handle and process specimens.
  • Participate in departmental quality assurance programs and training sessions.
  • Follow all safety, infection control, and OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Technology or Chemical, Biological, or Physical Science with 1 additional year of Medical Technology training.
  • Certification: Certified in the area of Clinical Laboratory Science by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum – One year of laboratory training or experience or both in a laboratory performing high complexity testing.
