Key Responsibilities- Perform routine medical procedures, including ancillary testing and tasks, under the supervision of treating clinicians.
- Prepare patients for physical examinations, including taking vital signs and performing required testing.
- Triage and dispositions all patients, ensuring timely and effective care.
- Assist providers during examinations and treatment, maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
- Maintain and operate medical devices and equipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current policies and procedures.
- Complete quality assurance activities, including testing processes and equipment calibration.
- Manage patient flow and volume, ensuring a positive patient experience.
- Perform clerical tasks, including documentation and record-keeping, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited school or Military Medical Specialist with current Medical Assistant credentials.
- Working knowledge of occupational medicine requirements, including state-specific regulations.
- Previous medical office experience preferred.
