Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct system-wide evaluations to optimize the allocation of enterprise application functions.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine system design.
3. Analyze software development processes, hardware configurations, and assess system reliability, maintainability, and availability.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience with SAP, particularly in Federal Financials and Public Sector Accounting.
- Proficient in Finance, Controlling, and Funds Management modules of SAP ECC 7.0.
- Strong understanding of compliance requirements related to Department of Defense (DOD) Laws, Regulations, and Policies (LRPs).
- Experience supporting internal and commercial audit engagements, including managing responses and corrective actions.
- Proven track record of participating in two full implementation project lifecycles.
- Extensive knowledge of functions related to Accounts Administration, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Budgetary Ledger, billings, cash advances, and interest expenses.
- Functional integration experience with other SAP modules, specifically Project Systems, Human Resources, Sales and Distribution, Materials Management, Production Planning, and Plant Maintenance.
- Familiarity with using BW and ECC queries for financial reporting.
- Experience in discrete manufacturing within SAP is a plus.
- Solution Sustainment Experience is advantageous.
DoD Experience:
- Review and comprehend compliance requirements for DoD LRPs concerning SAP-configured capabilities to support Government Business Enterprise Architecture (BEA) operational activities.
- Execute lifecycle processes to ensure compliance.
- Provide support for audits conducted by DoDIG, GAO, AAA, and other auditing entities.
- Develop responses and work products based on audit agency requests.
- Review audit agency reports and recommend corrective actions.
