We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Support Professional to join our team at The University of Vermont Health Network. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide patient care in the office setting, meeting the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care to patients of all ages and populations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Perform duties as assigned or delegated by other clinical support staff within the office, adhering to regulatory requirements, clinical and office policies, and procedures.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining accurate patient records.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures and technologies.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Up to one year of experience in a medical setting, with certification as a Medical Assistant or equivalent training and/or experience preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
- BLS certification required.
