Clinical Informatics Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Informaticist, RN to join our team at The University of Vermont Health Network. The successful candidate will play a key role in optimizing our clinical information system workflow for clinical processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with nursing, clinical disciplines, and Information Services to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of clinical technologies on patient care.
- Identify opportunities for optimum utilization of the clinical information system workflow for clinical processes.
- Assist in creating and maintaining end-user training documentation for users of Epic's clinical and clinical ancillary applications.
- Function as a liaison between clinicians and Information Services to facilitate a common understanding of information system needs, end-user processes, interoperability, and alignment with organizational goals.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of ambulatory and/or hospital clinical processes or patient access and revenue cycle management.
- Ability to work effectively with senior clinical and medical group leaders to prioritize and plan Epic Optimization work.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
