Job Summary:

VillageCare is a community-based, not-for-profit organization serving people with chronic care needs, as well as seniors and individuals in need of continuing care and managed care services. As an Intake Representative - Korean, you will play a crucial role in supporting prospective members interested in enrolling in our VillageCareMAX MLTC, MAP, and DSNP products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls from clients and referral sources, providing comprehensive answers to inquiries and promoting our company offerings.
  • Verify Medicaid and Medicare eligibility and ensure accurate demographic information in our enrollment system.
  • Assist the Business Development Manager in maintaining strong relationships with referral sources and scheduling nursing visits as needed.
  • Provide detailed explanations of plan benefits and compare various options to guide potential members in choosing the best plan for their needs.

Requirements:

  • An Associate's Degree is preferred, along with 2-3 years of experience in healthcare or customer service settings.
  • Fluency in Korean is a critical requirement, as effective communication with our diverse client base is paramount.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, a customer-centric mindset, and the capacity to foster collaborative relationships with external stakeholders and referral sources.
  • Proficiency in data entry and familiarity with Medicaid and Medicare systems.
