Oversees maintenance activities, focusing on achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) related to safety, quality, productivity, efficiency, and service.

While executing the supervisory responsibilities outlined below, the supervisor is expected to spend 75% of their time on the production floor.

Accountable for the comprehensive maintenance of production machinery and equipment through the scheduling and execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.


Daily Responsibilities:


Guide and advocate for practices and processes that ensure safe products compliant with relevant laws and regulations, meet company quality benchmarks, and fulfill customer requirements.

Take initiative and exhibit leadership to attain objectives related to Safety, Quality, Service, Efficiency, and Employee Development.
Lead by example to inspire employees to prioritize safety and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Supervise teams tasked with maintaining production machinery and equipment.

Plan, design, and implement innovative methods and procedures aimed at enhancing operations, reducing operational costs, and optimizing labor and equipment usage.

Ensure that maintenance activities comply with legal regulations.
Develop and execute a thorough preventive maintenance strategy to enhance machinery performance (i.e., uptime, reliability, and efficiency).

Oversee the implementation of preventive, predictive, and autonomous maintenance schedules, holding the team accountable for following the correct work standards in line with job plans.

Collaborate with maintenance planners and production teams to create a proactive weekly maintenance schedule with detailed job instructions.
Evaluate production timelines and work orders to establish repair, maintenance, and installation priorities.
Manage and enhance systems and procedures for maintenance work orders.

Establish and maintain a system for collecting and analyzing data regarding maintenance history and requirements for production equipment.

Seek assistance from other departments and management as needed to meet goals and objectives.
Utilize software applications to maintain data and generate reports.
Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI's), proactively addressing trends that may hinder target achievement.

Conduct floor audits as per Leader Standard Work, track metrics, ensure compliance with procedures/standard work, and rectify deficiencies as required.

Engage in root-cause analysis for recurring damage and failure rates, collaborating with other teams to proactively resolve equipment challenges.
Understand, support, and align with management expectations consistent with company values.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must possess all of the following:
Two (2) years of supervisory experience with proven leadership and management capabilities.
High School Diploma or GED.
Three (3) years of experience in maintenance and reliability.
Strong interpersonal skills, being accessible and approachable.
Experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, including automation, robotics, and controls.
Familiarity with hand tools.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and electrical diagrams.
Capability to utilize and instruct employees on technology, processes, and procedures.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary for conveying complex job-related processes.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including the ability to create reports, documents, presentations, and spreadsheets in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.

Ability to perform root cause analysis, compare and investigate information, and recommend and implement solutions.
Demonstrated analytical problem-solving skills.

Minimum proficiency in the English language to ensure effective training and ongoing communication regarding safety and quality matters.


Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Prior experience with plant production software is required; SAP experience is preferred.
Associate or Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
