Senior Human Resources Director of Strategic Partnerships

About the Opportunity
The East Bay Community Foundation is seeking a visionary leader to serve as the Managing Director of Human Resources, a critical role that will drive organizational excellence and support the Foundation's mission to advance racial equity and social justice in the East Bay.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of human resources best practices, a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams, and a passion for fostering a culture of equity, inclusivity, and belonging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of HR strategies that align with the Foundation's mission and values
- Build and maintain strong relationships with staff, leadership, and external partners to promote a culture of collaboration and mutual respect
- Develop and implement programs and initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion, and to support staff well-being and professional development
- Provide strategic guidance and support to leadership on HR-related matters, including talent management, performance management, and employee engagement
Requirements:
- 7-10 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on strategic leadership and talent management
- Proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams
- Strong understanding of human resources best practices, including diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders
