Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Value Analysis Coordinator to join our team at the University of Virginia. The successful candidate will work closely with clinical, administrative, and healthcare system staff to identify and implement cost-effective products, services, and processes that improve operational and clinical efficiency while maintaining or enhancing the quality and safety of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct value analysis studies to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with clinical, administrative, and healthcare system staff to ensure effective results-oriented outcomes
  • Review and assess applicable financial, clinical, operational, and evidence-based literature to inform decision-making
  • Develop and implement cost-effective solutions to improve operational and clinical efficiency
  • Manage value analysis data for outcome documentation and reporting
  • Coordinate and assist in the educational processes regarding value analysis processes
Requirements
  • Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited nursing program
  • 5 years of relevant experience in value analysis, process improvement, or a related field
  • Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia
Working Conditions

The job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequent travel, and bending/stooping. Ability to drive to off-campus entities. Proficient communicative, auditory, and visual skills; attention to detail and ability to write legibly; ability to lift/push/pull lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids, and infectious disease.
