Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Assistant Periodontics Specialist to join our team at PDS Health. As a key member of our clinical support staff, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the success of our clinicians.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to providing top-notch patient service.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn new skills from our team of experienced professionals, participate in daily morning huddles and monthly team meetings, and contribute to creating a Patient for Life (PFL) experience for our patients.

We offer a competitive salary range of $17.75-$24.75 per hour, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, 401K, and medical, dental, and vision insurance.

About the Role
  • Perform a variety of patient care, office, and laboratory duties to support the success of our clinicians.
  • Prepare patients for oral examination and assist other dental professionals in providing treatment to the teeth, mouth, and gums.
  • Maintain a clean, sterile, and cheerful environment, sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment, and keep the patients' mouths dry and clear using suction or other devices.
Requirements
  • Equivalent to high school diploma or general education degree (GED), and specified training courses as mandated by state for certification, licensure, or registration.
  • Certificates/Licenses/Registrations: As mandated by applicable state.
  • Specialty Dental Assistants must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and automobile insurance, or have reliable means of alternate transportation.
