Job Overview:

This role is a key contributor to the success of FirstService Residential, supporting the company's philosophies and culture to staff, clients, and community. As an IT Systems Specialist, primary responsibilities include ensuring the availability and reliability of all IT-related systems and software, providing exceptional customer service, and driving business growth through technology.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage internal and external client relationships and expectations during escalated issue resolution
  • Communicate effectively with team members, associates, and leadership on relevant information
  • Document all work performed in ServiceDesk, ensuring timely, accurate, and detailed records
  • Provide professional, courteous, and timely support and service to users and customers
  • Occasionally travel to other offices and sites for training and support
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords in Active Directory
  • Support Office 365 and Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Oversee hardware and software maintenance, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
  • Familiarity with Cisco telepresence devices, phones, and Meraki appliances
  • Experience with Citrix desktops, apps, and VPN technologies
  • Use remote support tools, such as GoToAssist and ManageEngine
  • Conduct user training on an as-needed basis

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in IT
  • Combination of Associate's degree and/or IT-related certifications (Microsoft, CompTia, Cisco) in a related field
  • Valid State Driver's License and Mandated Vehicle Insurance
  • Proficient in English; bilingualism is a plus
  • Expert-level skills with Microsoft Windows 10 and proficiency in Active Directory, Citrix, and Office 365
  • Strong customer orientation and excellent interpersonal and communication skills
