Job Title: Case Management Specialist

Javitch Block LLC is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Case Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our firm, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our case management system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mail and Document Processing: Receive and process mail, faxes, and emails from clients, attorneys, and third parties, and route them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Case Management: Summarize contents of mail into our case management system, prioritize mail based on deadlines, and assign files to attorneys based on file type, client requirements, and jurisdiction.
  • Court Liaison: Handle incoming faxes and emails, direct them to the proper personnel, and contact courts when necessary to obtain information.
  • Document Requests: Process document requests to courts to obtain copies of pleadings and answer court call phone lines.
  • Administrative Support: Provide backup support for our front desk receptionist as needed.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma required.
  • Experience: Law firm or legal assistant experience preferred. Notary preferred but can be obtained post-employment.
