Senior Business Development Representative

Welcome to US0050 Sysco San Francisco, Inc., a leading foodservice distribution company. We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Representative to join our team in the sales department.
Compensation and BenefitsThe estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 depending on experience and location. Our comprehensive benefits package includes a robust health insurance plan, 401(k) matching, employee stock purchase plan, and generous paid time off.
About the JobThis outside sales position is responsible for promoting our products and services to new and existing customers, while building strong relationships with key decision-makers. You will work closely with our culinary team to develop menus and solutions that meet our customers' needs. Your goal will be to drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets within your assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute business plans to penetrate new accounts and expand existing ones.
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
- BUILD TRUST with customers by providing exceptional service and expertise.
- Provide product information, demonstrations, and training to customer personnel.
- Collect accounts receivable and manage deliveries according to established routing schedules.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including operations and transportation, to ensure seamless execution.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, or related field OR equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of B2B or outside sales experience, preferably in the foodservice industry.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish).
- Restaurant management or chef experience preferred.
- Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Reside or be willing to relocate to the designated geographical area.
