Job Description

Western Digital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Planning and Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the forecasting process for Revenue, Opex, and Headcount across the Retail segment.

You will review business cases for New Products / Platforms, analyze data to provide insights to the business on demand/pricing, and optimize business operations. Additionally, you will reconcile programs created within the tool we utilize (Model N), with that of the customer, and suggest process improvements to mitigate accounting and operational risks.

This is a critical role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills. You will work cross-functionally with the Retail Segment, Sales, Demand Planning, Pricing, Claims, IT, and BU Analytics leads to drive business results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the forecasting process for Revenue, Opex, and Headcount across the Retail segment
  • Review business cases for New Products / Platforms
  • Analyze data to provide insights to the business on demand/pricing and optimize business operations
  • Reconcile programs created within the tool we utilize (Model N), with that of the customer
  • Suggest process improvements to mitigate accounting and operational risks

Requirements:

  • 9+ years of work experience in Data Analytics / Accounting / Business Finance / Pricing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Preference of previous management experience
