Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of credit analysts and manage the underwriting process to ensure accurate and timely loan approvals.
  • Attend client meetings to develop a deep understanding of borrower needs and mitigate key risks.
  • Manage annual review process, quarterly construction reviews, covenant testing, and exception reporting.
  • Train and mentor credit analysts to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Communicate with lenders and senior management to manage expectations and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience underwriting commercial real estate and C&I transactions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate key risks, and contribute to the development of employees through one-on-one interactions and active career planning and mentorship.
