Key Responsibilities:

The Chief Executive Officer will manage the daily operations of the senior living community, ensuring adherence to established policies and the organization's mission.

Key duties include:

  • Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Supervising department heads and staff.
  • Fostering high levels of engagement and satisfaction among residents, families, and staff.

Essential Functions:
  • Develop and enforce policies for community associates.
  • Prepare necessary reports for management.
  • Oversee recruitment, employment, and performance evaluations of staff.
  • Manage financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Ensure confidentiality of resident and associate information.
  • Collaborate with accounting and personnel departments to meet financial and payroll deadlines.
  • Assist in budget preparation and adherence.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
  • Build relationships with community agencies.
  • Address complaints and disputes among residents and staff.
  • Conduct resident satisfaction evaluations and implement improvements.

Qualifications:

Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of five years of relevant management experience in senior living communities. Candidates must meet state-specific regulatory requirements for community administration.

Skills required:

  • Proficient in computer applications including Windows, Office Suite, and property management software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to understand and apply relevant regulations and labor laws.
  • Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Physical ability to perform job functions, including lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds.
