Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Bureau Chief. This is a high-level leadership position that requires strong management and administrative skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and administer daily operations of assigned programs ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Lead, mentor, coach, guide and direct supervision of staff and team members within their administration.
  • Complete Performance Appraisals (MAP), authorize leave, and approve timecards.
  • Ensure staff meet performance and productivity metrics on schedule.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in public administration, social work, or related field and two (2) years executive leadership or senior management experience; OR
  • one (1) year as a Program Administrator 2 in Arizona state government. A Master's degree substitutes for 1 year of experience.
  • Ideal candidate will have strategic and long-range planning experience. Supervisory experience of professional staff is required.
