Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Courtyard by Marriott Norfolk. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing the front desk operations, and ensuring a seamless experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide attentive and courteous service to all guests, ensuring a positive experience throughout their stay.
  • Manage the front desk operations, including check-in, check-out, and room assignments.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of guest interactions and requests.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest service and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Stay up-to-date on hotel policies, procedures, and promotions to effectively communicate with guests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure the smooth operation of the front desk.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Availability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
