Sevita Registered Nurse Job Description

At Sevita, we provide rehabilitation services for individuals with brain, spinal cord, and medically complex injuries, illnesses, and challenges. Our team of dedicated professionals works together to deliver high-quality care in a variety of settings, including community-based programs, vocational and therapy programs, day treatments, and specialized services for infants, children, adolescents, military service members, and veterans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Implement and monitor healthcare plans, ensuring patients receive the best possible care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians and external medical centers, to prioritize patient outcomes.
  • Provide technical assistance, medical oversight, and training to staff to ensure exceptional care.
  • Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment to meet patients' biological, physical, and behavioral needs.

Requirements:
  • Education: Accredited RN degree, current state RN license, and current CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Experience: One year of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Skills: Clinical assessment, critical thinking, communication, teamwork, and creative problem-solving.
  • Behaviors: Reliable, responsible, compassionate, empathetic, and flexible.
  • Vehicle: Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
