**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in the success of our center by partnering with the Center Manager to effectively run the operation.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Assist the Center Manager in the management of the location, including maximizing sales and minimizing costs, motivating associates to achieve high standards of customer service, and resolving complaints.

• Direct the activities of the store in the absence of the Center Manager, including managing associates to attain sales results and achieve profit objectives.

• Assist with hiring, training, and managing associates, as well as operating the center in compliance with company standards and policies.

• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all customers receive a high level of service, meeting their needs and exceeding their expectations.

• Communicate specific work assignments and responsibilities to associates, and assist with managing safety, health, and environmental issues.

• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, including light and heavy lifting, standing, bending, and squatting.

**Requirements**

• One year of previous management experience in a retail or service environment.

• Ability to relocate based on the needs of the business and personal development for the role.

• Must have a valid driver's license and be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.

**Preferred Qualifications**

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Associate Degree in a related field.

• Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team.
