Job Description:
Role Overview:
Are you a dedicated and analytical professional with a strong interest in pediatric oncology and critical care? Join the MSK Kids APP team as an inpatient Advanced Practice Provider, rotating through various departments including the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), inpatient surgical services, and transplant and cellular therapies. In this dynamic position, you will work alongside a team of committed healthcare professionals in an acute care environment, providing comprehensive medical care to pediatric patients admitted to the inpatient units.

Key Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • NCCPA certification
  • Active New York State license or eligibility for state licensure
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is preferred
OR
  • Current New York State RN and Nurse Practitioner licenses/registrations
  • Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner certification required
  • Master's degree in nursing with prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
  • 3+ years of relevant clinical experience in a PICU
Core Skills:
  • Collaboration: Partner closely with physicians and healthcare team members, including surgical, anesthesia, and medical staff, to ensure seamless cooperation and optimize patient care.
  • Comprehensive Care: Deliver thorough and holistic care to patients undergoing pre-surgical assessments, addressing their medical needs and ensuring readiness for surgery.
  • Assessment Expertise: Conduct detailed medical histories and physical assessments, gathering essential information to inform treatment plans and enhance patient outcomes.
Additional Information:
Hours: 13 shifts per 4-week schedule, 12-hour shifts including days, weekends, and holiday rotations.

Pay Range: $144,000 - $182,000
