Job Overview:
Are you a driven critical thinker with a passion for pediatric oncology and critical care? Join the MSK Kids APP team as an inpatient Advanced Practice Provider rotating through various teams, including PICU, inpatient surgery, and transplant and cellular therapies. In this dynamic position, you will collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals in an acute care environment, providing comprehensive care to pediatric patients admitted to the inpatient units.

Key Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • NCCPA certification
  • Active New York State license or eligibility for state licensure
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is preferred
OR
  • Current New York State RN and NP licenses/registrations
  • Pediatric Acute Care NP certification required
  • Master's degree in nursing with prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
  • 3+ years of relevant clinical experience in a PICU

Core Competencies:
  • Collaboration: Work closely with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure seamless cooperation and optimize patient care.
  • Comprehensive Care: Deliver thorough and holistic care to pre-surgical patients, addressing their medical needs and ensuring readiness for surgery.
  • Assessment Expertise: Conduct detailed history and physical assessments, gathering critical information to inform treatment plans and enhance patient outcomes.

Additional Information:
Hours: 13 shifts per 4-week schedule, including 12-hour shifts with day, weekend, and holiday rotations.

Pay Range: $144,000 - $182,000
