Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of multidisciplinary engineers and specialists in Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) design, integration, and test efforts
  • Collaborate with software, mechanical, electrical, and field test engineering teams to provide a cohesive approach to subsystem and system level design and evaluation
  • Provide technical direction, coaching, and mentoring to employees on the team, and others, to achieve successful short and long-term outcomes
  • Foster a culture of innovation, flexibility, and integration to meet customers' changing needs
Requirements
  • 10+ years in hardware or integrated product development and/or test, including management of technical teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Aptitude for working with internal and external stakeholders across a wide range of technical areas
  • Strong background in Systems Engineering lifecycle from requirements definition to deployment and sustainment
  • Experience with AS9100, MIL-STD 810, IEEE15882.1, or equivalent QMS and rigorous environmental test standards
