SCCM Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled SCCM Engineer to join our team at Omni Inclusive. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in System Center Configuration Manager, with a focus on OSD (Operating System Deployment) and Microsoft Intune/Autopilot.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of image management using SCCM and Intune, as well as experience with various imaging engines and Windows 7/10 imaging technology. They will also be proficient in developing custom deployment scripts (VBS, batch, etc.) and have a sound understanding of package server, task server, and PXE server concepts.

The SCCM Engineer will be responsible for developing custom hardware and software profiles and components using Microsoft's Windows Embedded platform, applying modifications and customizations to the OS through registry modifications, and scripting to install applications and drivers into images (VB or other).

The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of file-based and sector-based imaging, as well as experience in developing utilities and processes to optimize images and installation procedures. They will be able to develop and document design specifications and build processes, troubleshoot and debug software and hardware problems related to the operating system or supporting applications, drivers, and services.

We are looking for a team player who can work closely with other developers to ensure design compliance and operating system compatibility with system and platform-specific applications.

Requirements:

• Graduate in any discipline
• SCCM/MECM OSD Imaging, MDT, ADK, WDS, PXE experience
• 8+ years of working experience in SCCM environment
• Compulsory MCTS 70-680 certification
• Desired MCSE/MCITP certification

• Excellent communication and conversation skills (verbal and written)

• Good working knowledge of MS Office (including MS Project and Visio)
• Great customer handling skills
• Able to handle unforeseen situations

Other Skills/Experience:

• Experience in Linux/Unix platforms installation and imaging
• Experience in Microsoft's OEM Pre-installation Kit (OPK) tools
• Experience in software development, processes, and methods
• QA/Software Testing/Troubleshooting experience
• Knowledge of PXE and DHCP functionality
