Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Developmental Disabilities Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide support and advocacy for clients as needed.
  • Assist clients in skill building and achieving their goals.
  • Model appropriate communication and presentation skills in the community.
  • Provide crisis and emergency behavior management as needed.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in the developmental disabilities field preferred.
  • Valid State-issued Driver's License and proof of current insurance required.
  • Maintain DSP/CDS, CPR/FA, behavior intervention training, CRMA, and other trainings mandated by Agency policies and State regulations.
