Position Title: Japanese-Speaking Cabin Crew Member

Overview:

We appreciate your interest in the Japanese-Speaking Cabin Crew Member role with Hawaiian Airlines. This position is essential in ensuring the safety and comfort of our passengers during their journey.

Role Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of our cabin crew is to guarantee the safety of all guests aboard our aircraft. This includes being well-prepared to perform safety protocols and assist passengers in emergencies. Cabin crew members operate in a dynamic environment and must adeptly manage emergency situations while providing exceptional service to a diverse range of personalities.

In addition to safety duties, cabin crew members are tasked with delivering a high standard of customer service throughout the flight. This includes:

  • Participating in pre-flight briefings to discuss flight details, safety measures, and service offerings.
  • Welcoming guests and guiding them to their seats while addressing any inquiries related to the flight.
  • Assisting passengers with their carry-on luggage and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Demonstrating the use of safety equipment and emergency procedures prior to take-off.
  • Monitoring the cabin for adherence to safety protocols and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Providing food and beverage services in accordance with established procedures.
  • Handling transactions for onboard products and services.
  • Administering first aid when necessary and documenting any incidents during the flight.
  • Preparing the cabin and guests for landing, following all safety protocols.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum age of 21 years.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; higher education is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage challenging situations effectively.
  • Proficiency in English and business-level Japanese, with the ability to read Romaji or Kanji.
  • Willingness to complete an intensive training program.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must possess a valid passport and meet travel documentation requirements.
