Position Summary

As a vital member of the Corporate Affairs & Human Resources team, the Corporate Affairs Coordinator is tasked with delivering comprehensive corporate services to various offices and manufacturing sites while supporting expatriates from headquarters. This role also involves managing the organization's Vehicle Leasing Program for senior management, facilitating high-profile events for distinguished visitors, and overseeing the Employee Recognition Program. Additionally, the Coordinator will handle International Travel arrangements, compose newsletters for management, and assist in executing daily operations and annual initiatives within the Corporate Affairs and Human Resources departments.

During the initial phase of the company's establishment, this position will play a crucial role in shaping the operational standards and systems necessary for the successful launch of MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC. This includes the development of protocols to support the construction of facilities and equipment, as well as providing essential support to employees. Following the establishment of the corporation, the Coordinator will be responsible for the ongoing management of these established standards and systems, with opportunities for enhancement as needed.

ABOUT MOBIS NORTH AMERICA ELECTRIFIED POWERTRAIN, LLC

MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC (MNAe) serves as a premier supplier of Battery System Assembly (BSA) and Power Electronics (PE) systems, integral components in the production of electric vehicles, utilizing cutting-edge manufacturing technologies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: To excel in this role, the incumbent must competently fulfill each essential duty. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.

  • Oversees the operational environment and office supplies for all facilities, including equipment such as printers, water dispensers, and coffee machines.
  • Effectively negotiates and regularly reviews contracts related to office services and equipment.
  • Coordinates maintenance and repair of office machinery, making recommendations for new equipment purchases as required.
  • Supervises both routine and non-routine office procurement, ensuring adequate stock levels for supplies and equipment while fostering strong vendor relationships.
  • Facilitates the setup of workstations for new team members, including telecommunications, computers, nameplates, and office supplies.
  • Designs and manages the Internal Travel Program for all team members, collaborating with relevant departments to ensure timely processing of travel invoices.
  • Administers the Vehicle Leasing Program, assisting senior management with vehicle orders, registrations, and ensuring prompt payment of invoices.
  • Participates in annual strategic planning, submits requests for travel budget allocations, and monitors expenditures using SAP systems.
  • Collaborates with the Corporate Affairs and Human Resources teams to plan and execute both new and recurring events.
  • Prepares the work environment for new hires, including name tags, keys, and identification badges.
  • Assists management by documenting VIP visits and tours, as well as the monthly Employee Recognition Program.
  • Engages in workplace improvement initiatives, addressing employee concerns through actionable solutions.
  • Manages documentation in accordance with corporate information security policies.
  • Coordinates with incoming expatriate team members to assist with housing, utilities, social security, driver’s licenses, and school admissions for their children.
  • Facilitates the logistics of out-processing for expatriates and their families upon their return.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in Corporate Affairs.
  • Experience with departmental budgeting.
  • Background in a dynamic industrial manufacturing setting.

Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Proficiency in both English and Korean is preferred.
  • Ability to develop, implement, and oversee strategic initiatives.
  • Goal-oriented, customer-focused, and results-driven mindset.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with Vehicle Leasing Programs.
  • Knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems, particularly SAP, is preferred.
