Position Summary:
As a Program Manager, you will oversee the procurement desk review process, ensuring compliance and efficiency in operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of procurement review protocols.
- Coordinate and execute assigned reviews, ensuring the procurement review tool is completed with participating school food authorities (SFAs) in the USDA Child Nutrition Programs.
- Establish a systematic approach for receiving and evaluating vendor paid lists, adhering to federal guidelines.
- Provide expert technical assistance to SFAs on procurement strategies and documentation.
- Conduct comprehensive data analysis to support decision-making.
- Prepare detailed written reports and respond to inquiries effectively.
- Assist in the approval process for applications.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in office software applications, including word processing and spreadsheets, with a capacity to learn custom software tools.
- A minimum of three years of experience in program coordination or management.
- Experience in implementing federal government regulations.
- A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
