Job Overview

NIRA Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our financial planning and analysis team, you will be responsible for preparing spend plans, verifying budget adjustments, and providing budget shortfall analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial plans and reports;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide input to and prepare for various briefings and data calls;
  • Support the preparation of OMB Annual and Monthly reports;
  • Work with the team to identify and resolve budget-related issues;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies and contractors.

Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of relevant work experience, including 5 years of experience in federal acquisition strategy, budget formulation, budget execution, cost management, or contract management;
  • High-level proficiency with spreadsheets, reports, or cost estimating tools;
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and prioritize assignments and workload, execute tasks, and meet deadlines;
  • Experience with the US Government budget and finance processes and systems;
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing;
  • Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment;
  • Ability to obtain Public Trust Clearance;
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related disciplines.

Desired Skills:

  • Prior experience with FAA formulation and execution;
  • Knowledge of financial planning and analysis tools and techniques.
