Role Overview

The Senior FP&A Analyst will play a pivotal role in the preparation of budgets and forecasts in collaboration with various stakeholders.

This position entails the ongoing monitoring and analysis of the organization's performance against established objectives, including budgets and forecasts, at both the brand and regional levels within the Benelux organization.

This is a permanent role with a regional focus, and the successful candidate will report to the Finance Lead for Benelux as part of the AA Western Europe Region Finance Team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Finance Head and Commercial teams to prepare the annual Budget, Long-range Plan (LRP), and monthly Latest Best Estimate (LBE).
  • Oversee Profit and Loss statements, ensuring comprehensive tracking of budget and expenditures while working closely with cross-functional Marketing and AMI teams.
  • Conduct KPI reporting and monthly variance analysis, identifying root causes and implementing corrective measures for future forecasts.
  • Work in partnership with Shared Service Centre colleagues to ensure accurate monthly accruals and adjustments.
  • Submit monthly forecasts in JDA for demand planning purposes.
  • Proactively recommend strategies to maximize revenue and optimize expenditures across the business.
  • Establish efficient and reliable systems and processes to enhance financial planning and reporting.
  • Drive internal control processes to ensure compliance with AbbVie’s and Allergan Aesthetics’ policies and external regulations.
  • Enhance financial literacy within the organization and serve as a strategic partner to commercial teams.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses as required.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated finance expertise in both controlling and accounting.
  • Proven leadership capabilities.
  • Strong proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to organize and structure tasks effectively.
  • Experience with SAP and Longview (or similar data analysis tools) is advantageous.
