Job Summary

The Commercial Lines Assistant Account Manager is a key member of our team at INSURICA, responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and supporting the department in meeting service needs. This role involves processing changes, rating, making calls, and ensuring accurate information is input into our automation systems to achieve high-quality and service standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process endorsements, certificates, change confirmations, and invoices as per instructions from the Account Manager.
  • Assist in processing new and renewal business, including application assembly, setting up files, assembling proposals, and maintaining client files on computer systems.
  • Provide prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable service to customers and prospects, ensuring all actions relating to customers and companies are performed in a manner that avoids potential errors and omissions.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all company change procedures and participate in seminars and other training to maintain required licenses and for knowledge and skill development.
  • Support the department with computer and word processing skills, including rating programs in our automation system.
Requirements
  • Ability to obtain a thorough understanding of commercial underwriting and coverage and interpret abstract data.
  • Intermediate PC skills, with the ability to effectively utilize the agency's management systems.
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced, changing priority environment, self-motivated, and with the initiative to prioritize and be self-directed.
  • Regular and punctual attendance is required, as well as excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and managers across all levels.
  • Ability to promote and maintain a team environment, willing to find accommodating solutions for our customers, companies, and the Agency.
  • Ability to successfully adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as maintain strict confidentiality.
Qualifications
  • Property and Casualty license or willingness and ability to quickly obtain.
  • Previous insurance experience preferred.
  • CISR designation preferred.
  • Associate degree preferred.
