We want you to applyJob Summary and QualificationsDocuments patient information, presents correct information for interpretation, and performs other non-clinical duties to support procedure completion.Performs all aspects of radiopharmaceutical preparation for scintographic, bioassay, and therapeutic procedures and disposes of radioactive trash according to department policy and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.Performs imaging and therapeutic procedures according to requirements.Transfers and positions the patient in a safe manner.Performs non-clinical activities pertinent to equipment maintenance and NRC regulations for Quality Control and radiation monitoring.Efficiently operates electronic information system and Unit Dose Manager.Maintains appropriate supplies and a clean and organized working environment.Participates in continuing education activities to expand/enhance knowledge of Nuclear Medicine.Involvement in Quality Control/Quality Improvement. Initiates patient teaching including family and/or significant others.What qualifications you will need:EXPERIENCERequired - One year experience in Nuclear Medicine. (May include experience in formal NM training program.)Preferred -Three years' experience in hospital Nuclear Medicine department.EDUCATIONRequired -RT with one year training and demonstrated, documented proficiency in the field of NuclearMedicine. Certification with the NMTCB, ARRT, or ASCP. CPR eligible.Preferred -Completion of accredited Nuclear Medicine program and certification from the NMTCB,ARRT, or ASCP.
