The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, a proven track record in maintenance management, and a commitment to safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.Responsibilities:Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of maintenance technicians, assigning tasks, providing training, and ensuring optimal performance.Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to minimize equipment downtime and extend asset life.Reactive Maintenance: Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate repairs to restore operations efficiently.Equipment Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance, reliability, and efficiency through modifications or upgrades.Inventory Management: Maintain adequate levels of spare parts and maintenance supplies to support operations.Budget Management: Develop and manage the maintenance budget, controlling costs while ensuring optimal equipment performance.Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and regulations, conduct regular safety inspections, and promote a safe work environment.Performance Metrics: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure maintenance effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance maintenance processes, reduce costs, and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).Collaboration: Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to support operational goals.Qualifications:Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor in a manufacturing environment.Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing equipment and systems.Experience with maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution.Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving.Excellent leadership and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Proficient in maintenance management software (CMMS).Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards.Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field preferred.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.Six Sigma certification or training.Bilingualism (English/Spanish).
