About the Maintenance Supervisor position:

We are seeking highly skilled, experienced Maintenance Supervisors in the Philadelphia, Bucks, and Montgomery Counties.  Candidates should have at least 3-5 years prior experience as a Maintenance Supervisor with a recognized member of the Apartment Association.

Critical factors in consideration for this role include:

Experience and ability supervising and working within a maintenance Team.

Strong trouble shooting skills.

Proficiency in maintenance and repair tasks. Including: plumbing, electrical and light carpentry work.

Experience reading and interpreting documents such as work orders, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

Proficiency in basic computer skills ( experience with Property Management software a plus)

A valid PA driver’s license

Regular on-call service as part of a group rotation is a requirement of the position.

Live within 30 minutes of the property.

 

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

Prepares vacant rental units for occupancy.

Responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repair of the buildings and grounds.

Snow removal.

Visually inspects buildings and grounds in the course of daily work and reports anything    in need of repair or replacement as well as unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents to Management.

Maintains inventory of supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or the management company.

Obtains and maintains personal tools required for Maintenance Supervisor position.        

Keeps work area clean and tools and equipment in good working order.

Performs duties according to Occupations Safety & Health Act (OSHA) standards and company safety policies at all times.

Wears the required uniform and maintain professional appearance and communication at all times.

Must be available to work on an on-call basis.

Performs other related duties and assignments as required.
