SFSC owns security mechanisms and financial governance related to Salesforce development, and delivers company-wide, reusable components for common Salesforce use cases and recommended third-party solutions, managed Amazon integrated solutions for security, DevOps and system integrations, expertise, training and community to grow our talent and share Salesforce best practices and learnings across Amazon. Delivering at Amazon scale and building industry-grade solutions, we partner closely with Salesforce business and technical leadership. We give Salesforce superpowers with AWS innovation.You would own defining and launching SFSC's new company-wide initiatives for financial governance. Working closely with financial and technical leaders across both Amazon and Salesforce, the business processes and automated mechanisms you define and help deliver will allow all Salesforce users and leaders across Amazon to easily manage and forecast their usage and costs. What you deliver will be used by both companies to optimize the Salesforce-related solutions portfolio used by Amazon business and engineering teams.Key job responsibilitiesAs a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for scoping and delivering large programs end-to-end. Responsibilities include collection of business and systems requirements from internal and external customers, writing specifications, driving project schedules from design to release, and managing production launches. You will lead and coordinate design/implementation efforts between internal teams and outside merchants and vendors to develop optimal solutions. You will be expected to make appropriate tradeoffs to optimize time-to-market, clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and remote project teams.You will need experience leading diverse, highly technical cross-company changes, influencing engineers and engineering leaders at all levels, and defining engineering and operational best practices.You will need to be able to communicate clearly with senior executive leaders across the company as easily as you can convey key technical ideas and directions to engineers at all levels. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market.
