Join us to bring the gift of health to life.3rd Shift : 11pm to 7:30amThe Industrial Electrician is responsible for installs, troubleshoots, and repairs control devices which automate industrial manufacturing processes. This role will apply the knowledge to evaluates all process control systems for reliability and proactively seeks methods to optimize the manufacturing processes. The candidate will be closely working with Maintenance team, Operations, Engineering, Technical Operations, and Information Technology Department, etc. The role directly reports to Maintenance Department Leader.Key ResponsibilitiesCritical contributions this role is counted on to deliver include:Designs, installs, programs and troubleshoots electrical and electronic control systems and components including PLC's, VFD's, HMI's, and process control loops.Recommends measures to improve production methods and equipment performance.Troubleshoots faulty control systems and implements systemic solutions to avoid future failures.Ensure efficient operations in assigned project areas in accordance with Pharmavite Safety Requirements, SOP's, and cGMP's.Ensures functional operation and preventative maintenance of equipment to reduce/eliminate accidental injury.Ideal Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate has solid understanding of electrical, mechanical, and controls engineering fundamentals, and creative with recommending solutions. The candidate can make difficult decisions, act with urgency to deliver on customer needs, and work with minimal supervision. The candidate is the team player and willingly provide support and trainings to the mechanics in process control applications. Critical Success FactorsYou'll be most successful in this role if you have:Effective in troubleshoot and repairing electrical controls and instrumentation issues for can manufacturing equipment and electrical distribution.Reads and interprets drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.Conducts preventive maintenance programs and keeps accurate maintenance records.When others have new ideas or different approaches, you will be the one to find the common ground and you strive to communicate effectively with peers and others in the organization.Self motivated technician with minimal supervision, always focusing towards improving equipment reliability through well executed strategies and procedures.Capabilities & Skills RequiredIn order to take on these challenges, you'll need to have:Minimum 5+ years related work experience as an Industrial electrician. Background in pharmaceuticals and or food and beverage manufacturing preferred.High School/GED or 9 years work history equivalency of related work experience.Technical or Trade School degree desired (Military training and experience will be taken into consideration).Must have PLC and PC-Based HMI Programming and implementation experience, preferably Allen Bradley.Understanding of NEC, NFPA, OSHA, GMP and other safety requirements.Communicates effectively: conveys facts and information clearly both verbally and in writing.OUR OFFERHere, career paths aren't predefined, and bureaucratic limitations don't exist -- you have the opportunity to grow, learn from industry pioneers, and develop the way you want to. Various elements are used to determine a candidate's starting salary such as job experience, specific skills, and comparison to internal incumbents currently in the role.
