Culinary Team, project initiatives, corporate events, and productdevelopment efforts across a variety of product platforms.Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Functions:A. Work closely with and act as a liaison between the Symrise Food BU Technical team and thecustomer Culinary, Marketing and Product development teams.B. Responsible for Culinary representation of Symrise capabilities, ingredients, and solutions dailywithin the Customer organization.C. Develop strong peer to peer (Chef to Chef, Chef to Technical) working relationships with thecustomer.D. Support Symrise Sales by tracking food/market trends and applying that knowledge to the key customer account. Develop proactive product concepts and presentations that featureSymrise flavors/ingredients/solutions in the identified culinary trend relative to this customers product platformsE. Oversee the organization and inventory of Symrise library ingredients, including seasonings,flavors, functional tools.F. Demonstrate deep passion for product/concept design, creativity, science, collaboration, andnetworking with cross functional teams.Other Functions:Support and advance the goals of Symrise Culinary R&D, to be a

Support sensory through thepreparation of food products for testing and routine flavor evaluations for the flavor library.Knowledge and Experience Requirements:B.S. Food Science or related subject area.C.R.C. Certification thru Research Chef AssociationCulinary degree from an accredited institution or commensurate experience in professional kitchensKnowledge of ingredient functionality and food chemistryMinimum 3 years of experience in food/flavor manufacturing or relatable restaurant industry experience.Skills & Abilities:Overview - Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and computer literacy is required. Anintroductory knowledge of flavor production, product applications, market trends, salesfunction/role, understanding of laboratory equipment are also factors for success.
Demonstrated food manufacturing ingredient knowledge.
Demonstrated food manufacturing equipment, processing methods, and systems knowledge
Ability to deliver most effective taste options while solving flavor and food ingredient relatedissues associated with application and processing methods
Problem solving skills combined with analytical skills and good attention to detail.
Ability to work with a
sense of urgency.
Effectively work in a team environment (cross functional teams, both internal and externalresources) through excellent interpersonal, influencing and communication skills (both writtenand verbal)
Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast paced business environment, demonstrated ability to self-motivate and manage multiple priorities.
Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
Bona fide Occupational Qualifier
