Facility Operations Application Specialists

Clean Harbors is looking for a Facility Operations Application Specialists to join our Norwell, MA team. The ideal candidate will have a waste background. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to monitoring and interpreting data, supporting data systems for operations, monitoring systems health and data integrity, then triaging any issues. Lastly, you will run user acceptance testing.

Training: Develop Win Web training programs for the Facilities Group personnel. Train employees on Win Web systems via phone and Webex. Cover Service Now for any Win Web issues. Write SOP’s or training papers for any new systems releases to user communityTravel to Facilities to implement new procedures or assist with any problem areas affecting database managementProblem resolution: Service Now is the service to employees within the Facilities group for any Win Web related data issues. If data issues cannot be resolved through systematic means, work with MIS for resolution. Works closely with billing department to resolve any plant issues holding up invoicing. Works closely with E-commerce and Sales reporting department to answer all tracking related questionsDatabase management: Responsible for managing untracked, blanks, missing drums, restriction violations and manifests greater than thirty daysInventory management: Assist with month-end waste inventories at all facilitiesAssist users with running and interpreting waste management reports.Provide user training and assistance with Cognex scanning devices and all plant applications on the IOS platformProvide UAT for all new plant related applications as well as regular testing of data fixes, hot fixes, and system enhancements to existing plant applicationsParticipate in company acquisitions, which may involve travel, and aide in new site setup in WinWebWhat does it take to work for Clean Harbors?Bachelor preferred with a focus on IT, Operations, or Analytics5 years of waste monitoring, tracking and analysis experienceUAT (User Acceptance Testing) preferredKnowledge of regulatory bodies (RCRA, EPA, DOT) and regulations for waste tracking Self-motivated problem solver who can follow protocol, direction and take initiativeStrong attention to detail is a mustAble to prioritize workExcellent verbal and written communication skillsCommunicates well with all levels of an organizationMS Office Suite proficiency with Excel, Word, and OutlookComputer savvyWinWeb experience preferredKnowledge of Clean Harbors priorities and plant processes is a plus40 years of sustainability in action.
