Help Desk Analyst II

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst II in Houston, Texas. This role is in the IT industry, where you will be responsible for various tasks related to Windows 10 migrations and PC desktop support, among other duties.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with teams to plan and execute Windows 10 migrations, ensuring the identification of necessary applications and user settings to be migrated.
Manage and maintain accurate customer credit records, applying your PC skills to ensure precision.
Handle customer inquiries related to migration, providing solutions and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary, utilizing your knowledge of PC Desktop - Workstation.
Maintain and troubleshoot printers, ensuring they function correctly for smooth operations.
Use KACE systems for various tasks, demonstrating your technical proficiency.
Restore only the necessary information on the destination computer during migrations, avoiding redundancy and potential system instability.
Ensure the efficient processing of customer credit applications, demonstrating attention to detail and organizational skills.
Manage personal data files and folders during migrations, ensuring they are correctly transferred to the new system.
Identify applications that may be phased out during migration planning, ensuring only necessary data is captured.
Requirements
Must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Help Desk Analyst or in a similar role.
Demonstrable proficiency in PC Desktop - Workstation is required.
Proficient PC Skills including use of standard office software and applications.
Ability to troubleshoot and maintain printers.
Knowledge of KACE systems management software is essential.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information in a clear and understandable manner.
Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Relevant certifications in IT and Help Desk support will be advantageous.
Must be open to working in shifts, during weekends, and on holidays if required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to handle confidential information responsibly.
