RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client is looking for a Principal Product Manager, Inventory Management in San Francisco, CA.

Summary:
This is a strategic role, as this person will be a part of the vendor selection process, which includes flushing out the gap analysis and documentation from each vendor solution, organizing and tracking those proposals.

Duties/Day to Day Overview:
* Key owner of the RFP process and inventory management solution selection process
* Lead the implementation of a new inventory management solution

REQUIREMENTS:
* 10+ years of experience in product management - hands-on with stakeholder management, requirements gathering, writing user stories, and partnering with development teams
* 5+ years of experience (recently) in the retail industry, specific niche around inventory management
* Demonstrated experience managing the implementations of an enterprise inventory management system
* Experience being a part of an RFP for an inventory management solution
* Proven track record of launching successful products and driving business growth
* Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas to stakeholders at all levels
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse set of business and technology partners

Experience around:
* Demand Forecasting: Segmentation to run defined forecast methods/settings based on SKU variability, velocity and time selling
* Order Recommendation and Creation: Vendor to Store replenishment; Vendor to DC replenishment
* New Item Planning/Store Allocation & Replenishment

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
