Position: Help Desk Technician
Location: Kansas City, MO (MOSTLY ONSITE - WEEKLY ONSITE 3 DAYS, REMOTE 2 DAYS)
Salary: up to $55,000 + excellent benefits

Robert Half is looking for a HELP DESK TECHNICIAN for a permanent direct hire full time position. The position is MOSTLY ONSITE - WEEKLY ONSITE 3 DAYS, REMOTE 2 DAYS IN KANSAS CITY, MO
In this HELP DESK TECHNICIAN permanent position you will join a highly successful professional services firm with about 1,000 employees and multiple locations. You will apply your HELP DESK TECHNICIAN skills focusing on: PROVIDING EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE, APPLYING YOUR BASIC TECHNOLOGY KNOWLEDGE, LEARNING NEW TECHNOLOGY AND TROUBLE SHOOTING COLLABORATING WITH YOUR TEAM. You will work directly with end users and be empowered and supported to work on projects and day to day operations applying your strategy, plans and execute on it effectively and efficiently without a lot of meetings and red tape. Requirements:
- Excellent proven customer service skills
- 1+ year or more of demonstrated basic technology skills, knowledge and ability to quickly learn
- Good understanding of basic networking, concepts, hardware, software and configuration

• Possess a strong understanding and hands-on experience with Active Directory• Proficiency in using and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows is mandatory
• Ability to provide technical support and resolve customer inquiries
• Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose, evaluate and resolve complex problem situations
• Prior experience in a help desk or IT customer service setting
• Strong knowledge of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on projects to completion
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical terms to non-technical users
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
