Dev Ops Support Engineer

Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps Support Engineer to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation and monitoring of our OnPrem .NET Core APIs hosted on Windows servers, as well as our AWS environment, which includes API Gateway, Lambda, Queues, SNS, and EventBridge. The ideal candidate will have experience in monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Dynatrace, LogicMonitor and SolarWinds Database Performance Analyzer (DPA), and will play a key role in maintaining the health and performance of our Production and QA environments.

Key Responsibilities:
Monitoring & Maintenance:
Continuously monitor OnPrem .NET Core APIs hosted on Windows servers using LogicMonitor, Dynatrace, and SolarWinds DPA.
Monitor and manage the AWS environment, including API Gateway, Lambda, Queues, SNS, and EventBridge.
Ensure the stability, performance, and security of both on-premises and cloud environments.





DevOps & Build Management:
Manage and support the QA and Production build processes.
Work closely with the operations team to deploy and maintain applications across environments.
Automate build, deployment, and monitoring processes where possible to improve efficiency.





Support & Troubleshooting:
Act as the first line of defense in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues within the environment.
Join and contribute to troubleshooting calls, coordinating with other support teams to resolve incidents promptly.
Document and report issue resolution status to management and other support teams.
Escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams while ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.





Collaboration & Communication:
Work collaboratively with various support teams to ensure seamless operations and swift resolution of any issues.
Provide clear and concise communication to management, including status updates and incident reports.
Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.





Qualifications:
3-5 years of proven experience in a DevOps or Support role, preferably with a focus on .NET Core APIs and Windows server environments.
Hands-on experience with AWS services, including Cloudwatch, API Gateway, Lambda, Queues, SNS, and EventBridge.
Proficiency in monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, and SolarWinds DPA.
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues.
Experience with build and deployment processes, including automation tools and scripts.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and management.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.



Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
